Trainers Who Care

Relic Jiu Jitsu Academy Owner and Lead Instructor Shawna "Bam Bam" Ormsby is a Professional Mixed Martial Arts Fighter and Boxer. A 3x Kickboxing World and State Champion and a 4th Degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt with Carlson Gracie and Cesar Gracie Lineage. She has acquired a lot of experience in the ring, cage and on the mats since 2013. In 2019, Relic Jiu Jitsu was opened to help spread her love of Jiu Jitsu and combat sports to show and share how much confidence and growth you can gain through training. 

We have a fantastic staff of Assistant Instructors including Mark Tagami (Jiu Jitsu), Jason "Tapout" Rivera (Youth/Adult Jiu Jitsu), Ronny Vega (Striking), Christian Lehman (MMA), Keith Forbes (Youth & MMA) and Brianna Machado (Youth & Striking).

Relic Jiu Jitsu is an affiliate school of Darkwolf MMA in Debary, FL under David, Melissa and Christian Lohsen. This family has over 30 years of experience in Combat Sports, starting off in the root of Stockton, California and our lineage is connected to Cesar Gracie. We've created a unique opportunity for our students to also get to train at our affiliates school meaning you get two Jiu Jitsu families in one!
